Sherry has promoted businesses since childhood starting with Current Cards and Stationery Co. In 1993 she was asked to promote an event through media channels, which came very easy for her. Other opportunities presented themselves and she opened up business. She was blessed to meet a woman who after years working at a PR agency started her own firm and hired Sherry for contract work, then became her mentor.

This was the support and guidance Sherry needed and now 28-years later she has worked with a variety of over 150 businesses strategizing and executing successful publicity campaigns and other communications initiatives.

Publicity is a powerful tool for influencing and changing behavior. Sherry is a specialist in creating strategic campaigns, plans and tactics for clients to push out news about their products, services, experts, employees, research, new developments etc. through local, regional and national media sources reaching the targeted audience(s) desired. Client audiences can be business to consumer or business to business. Most clients think it is just about crafting a press release. It is MUCH more involved than that.

She also provides additional communications tools to expand on the publicity campaign to reach goals and can include community relations, event promotions, social media, brand development and marketing.

Clients are small-to-midsize businesses in industries of health and wellness, retail, restaurants, special events, business services/commerce, business and service consultants, and nonprofits. Her niche is working with authors and speakers, many of which are national best-selling authors, as well as small press and self-published authors.

Sherry also has the resources to assist authors in everything from creating the book concept to contracting with writers, editors, book cover development, printing, and distribution.

As the previous owner of a creative talent representation company, Butler Creative Resources, Sherry provided project management from sourcing and hiring various creative talent for adjunct campaign projects that require talent services. Creatives she represented were photographers, illustrators, web design, writers, music and video production, web designers and digital marketing specialists.
